With all the recent rain, it’s nice to look back at some of the lovely spring finery the park has shown off the last couple of months. As yo may know, the bedding plants and many other flowering plants are funded by the Friends of Heaton Moor Park. All gardening is also funded by the Friends, as the council only provides a ‘cut and clear’ service to the parks due to cuts to services.
If you enjoy the flowers and plants, why not consider making a regular donation through LocalGiving? These donations also attract gift aid which will make your support go even further. Simply visit our Local Giving page.
