Having received many reports of owls hooting in the park, we are happy to report owls now have two potential homes to dive into.
Thanks are in order to those involved in getting the boxes into the park:
- Friends of Heaton Moor Park volunteers Mark and George who constructed the owl boxes.
- The Council greenspace officers who arranged for their installation.
- And to all those park visitors who provided to the funds for this project by attending Friends’ Park events or made donations through Localgiving!
