It’s autumn, so leaves, leaves, leaves all over the grass to be raked; new plants to be added before winter sets in; borders to be mulched; ivy to be curtailed; overhanging shrubs to be tamed; and the Rotary corner at the Elms Road entrance needed some attention as well.
The Friends of Heaton Moor Park were out in force to get leaves, mulch, branches and plants all sorted. They were joined by members of Rotary Stockport Lamplighter, who tidied up the Rotary corner. All in all a week’s worth of gardening done in 2 hours!
The weather even co-operated, although a bit dull at the beginning, the rain had stopped and the sun even came out for a bit at the end.
